AI transparency
This page sets out where AI systems generate content across our services, how that content is labelled, and where no person reviews it before publication.
Intelligence feed — briefings, reports, breaking news, roundups
Items are generated entirely by an AI system from continuously monitored sources and published automatically. No person reviews the content before publication. Every item carries a notice above the text; in listings, the live feed and the RSS feed it is additionally marked as AI-generated. The linked original publications are always authoritative.
Images
All article images are generated by an AI system. They carry the European Commission's official mark for AI-generated content, composited into the bottom-right of the image itself — so it remains visible when an image is downloaded or reshared on social networks.
Newsletter
The newsletter is produced automatically with the assistance of AI. The corresponding notice appears at the start of every issue.
Email replies
Replies to enquiries may be written by an AI system. Such messages carry a notice in the text and are technically marked as automatically submitted.
Social media
Posts for social networks are drafted by an AI system and approved by a person before publication. They also carry a disclosure label.
What is not reviewed
We do not operate a newsroom. For the intelligence feed there is no editorial review, no verification and no fact-checking by a person before publication. The person responsible under § 18(2) MStV is Danny Scherer; details are in the legal notice.
Systems in use
Text is generated with language models from Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI; images with an image model from Google (Gemini). The selection of models may change.
Corrections
If you notice an inaccuracy, please write to us. Affected items are corrected or removed promptly.
Legal basis
Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act) requires providers and deployers to disclose AI-generated content. The marks used are from the European Commission's official icon set.
