NimbleList: Open-Source Visual Workspace for Claude Code and Codex CLI Orchestration
NimbleList (also branded Nymbalyst) is a new open-source GUI that layers project-management primitives on top of existing Claude Code and Codex CLI subscriptions—no new SaaS billing required. It provides Kanban boards with automatic task transitions as agents progress through phases, Mermaid diagram rendering, Excalidraw for visual planning, and a canonical plan.md task ledger that agents read and write. Users can switch between Claude Code and Codex mid-project, use LM Studio for local models, and leverage Claude Code skills and MCP plugins. A "commit with AI" feature generates commit messages from session diffs inside the workspace.
